I started adopting a more holistic approach to my health when I discovered the effectivenss of an Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle to help combat the detrimental effects of being in a high-level, high-stress job. Intrigued by the healing that took place, I yearned to know more. That’s when I entered the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to become a Certified Integrative Nutrition Coach.
During that time, I also became a licensed HeartMath® Coach in order to have an additional tool for responding to stress. A couple of years later, I enrolled in Andrea Nakayama’s Holistic Nutriton Lab to further my studies in functional nutrition and David Crow’s herbalism course, Medicinal Plants and Sprititual Evolution. I’ve continued to take workshops, work with healers and study Ayurveda.
As a life-long writer and teacher, I feel the need to share what I’ve learned so that others may benefit. The desire to share resulted in my book, Soul Destination: 8 Paths to Balance, Consciousness, Inspiration and Freedom, and this blog.
